Founded in 2014, Nourish by Nature is found in an idyllic part of the Kerry countryside, located just outside the town of Listowel. Onsite you’ll find free roaming chickens, ducks and even two rescue goats!
Prior to 2020 the business consisted of a wellness centre and nutrition-focused cookery school. With the pandemic lockdown restrictions the team had to get creative and so, the cookery school became a development kitchen for a new plant-based treat range!
Nourish by Nature specialises in using raw, natural wholefood ingredients. The treats are always vegan, gluten free & refined sugar free.
What started as a small personally delivered treat box grew into a thriving selection of products and we now supply to cafes, restaurants and shops around Munster.
Nourish by Nature’s wellness treatments have now resumed and we offer a range of complementary therapies, including Nutritional Therapy, Relexology & Massage; all of which promise to help optimise your physical and mental wellbeing.
The family run business is owned and operated by husband and wife team Angela & Sid
Wellness Therapist: Angela Sheehan
Angela is committed to her clients and adapts treatments to suit each individuals needs to achieve the best results. She undertakes additional training annually to ensure she is always up to date with the latest practices in holistic healing. She promotes a friendly and relaxed environment and although she is primarily based at her practice Nourish by Nature, she can occasionally accommodate offsite treatments for those in hospitals or nursing homes, who are unable to travel.
Chef & Nutritional Therapist: Sid Sheehan
Since 2018 he has sat on the Tourism & Events Board for Listowel Business & Community Alliance. He plays an active role in the local community and was delighted to win the prestigious Local Food Hero award at Listowel Food Fair in 2019.
Sid’s reach extends even further than the local area. He has worked around the country with Kathryn Thomas’ company Pure Results, as a Team Nutritionist & Chef. He also hosts Allergen Workshops for food businesses across Ireland.
